This week we are in Paris for "market" the lesser known side of fashion week, meeting with buyers from all over the world to present our SS26 collection. We are showing alongside New York designer Marland Backus who I met early this year. After 6 years in Tokyo, Marland moved to Australia and we were put in touch via our mutual stockist (and Marland's bestie) Cafe Forgot, who thought we might get along. Safe to say we do and coming to Paris together so early in our new friendship has only solidified this.
What is a showroom?
For those who are confused by what we mean a "showroom" is a private collection showing for buyers during fashion week. Essentially fashion week is like a city wide trade show or convention for people in the fashion industry, and while the shows get most of the spotlight for most brands and stores the main purpose is to meet with buyers from stores all over the world who are interested in stocking the brand and would like to see the new pieces in person before placing an order. Orders are place in October for Northern Hemisphere Spring/ Summer of 2026 (we begin delivering the collection in February.)
If you are a buyer , stylist or otherwise involved in the industry and would like to visit the showroom while we are in Paris, please email us to book an appointment!
We are also doing a small preview for friends & private clients on Sunday the 5th from 2pm, where you can come and view and even try on the new collection and place preorders with both Niamh Galea & Marland Backus. Reply to this email for the address and more information!

Our showroom is taking place at our friend's beautiful auction house in the 4th arrondissement, which until recently was a pharmacy that opened in the 17th century, the old apothecary jars and shelving remain (a very French and regal setting for our collections). Pius is the auction house dog and is generally lazing around in the sun throughout the day between appointments.

Every day we drink our coffee before our appointments, standing of course across the road at a little cafe.

au revoir!
