INTRODUCING FEBRUARY PIN UP; Lorenzo Maioli

For February I asked my friend Lorenzo (kind of shyly) how he would feel about being in the calendar. He graciously said yes.

I really wanted to see him in the jeans; he is an obvious heart throb and someone I enjoy dancing with A LOT; recently we've had a few late nights being silly at the club; but he is also a sweet gentle man who loves the ocean and cooking. He loves yellow and owns the yummy trackpants in sunshine. I feel like this photo by Mia captures his pensive nature beautifully.

There is a message Lorenzo reads in his above video I really needed this week after getting some disappointing news:

"All one has to do is follow what excites them the most. Find their skill, find what it is that you can create in this world and do it so wholeheartedly. The people who are meant to receive it are waiting for you to create it. No one else can create the thing that you are meant to give to the world. It is really that simple."

1. Who are you? How do you spend your days?

I’m a digital content creator. No two days look the same, which is exactly how I like it.

2. What are you working on at the moment? What is your process?

A few different projects. My process always starts with understanding the client, then layering in my own perspective to keep everything cohesive and true to my style.

3. Do you have any personal goals right now? Anything you hope to achieve in 2026?

I do. But if I told you, I’d have to kill you.

4. Fashion is…Expression.

5. Any lessons learnt recently?

Whatever is worth doing at all is worth doing well.

6. What makes you happy?

Quiet routines, time outdoors, and creating things from nothing.

7. What advice would you give your 18-year-old self?

Don’t do anything for anyone else’s validation but your own.
