Meet Miss June: the woman behind the behind

Meet Miss June: the woman behind the behind

It's a new month, which means it's time to flip the page on the NG 2026 calendar — and time to introduce you to the very interesting person behind the bum.

Our June calendar girl is Bridgette Murphy: founder of Wren World, the female-owned talent agency, and owner of one of the best behinds in Sydney. Bridgette was cast by Chloe Corkran @xnorkpowka who declared that this was her favourite shot from the day. Shot by Mia Rankin, styled by Bridie Gilbert.

We asked her a few questions —

1. Who are you? How do you spend your days?

I'm Bridgette Bridey Murphy. Most of my energy right now goes into Wren World, the female-owned talent agency I recently launched. After a decade of moving at a certain pace, my days are now spent with the intent of being gentle. I'm usually riding my bike around Sydney, finding the next swim spot & reading in the sun.

2. What are you working on at the moment? What is your process?

Right now, I'm working on the art of building a foundation for Wren World while also figuring out who I am as a leader. It's a bit of an 'unlearning' process, stripping back the rigid habits and replacing them with trusting my intuition. It's freeing & equally scary to realise I no longer have to ask for permission to do things differently.

3. Do you have any personal goals right now? Anything you hope to achieve in 2026?

On a deep level, I'm focused on embracing my femininity and finding my own version of body positivity which is why I wanted to be a part of this year's calendar shoot. It's a challenge in a world, and industry, that can feel like it's built to tear that down. On a lighter note, I am determined to finally get my driver's licence before I hit 30!

4. Fashion is…

a beautifully, chaotic universal language.

5. Any lessons learnt recently?

That taking it easy doesn't mean you're falling behind. I'm realising that rest and intentionality are what allows you to go further in the long run.

6. What makes you happy?

My community and the generation I'm a part of. It makes me incredibly happy and proud to be surrounded by people who aren't afraid to challenge the world. We aren't observing the world; we're actively working toward political and societal change. Seeing my peers turn their values into action and knowing I'm part of a collective that prioritises progress over 'just getting ahead'.

7. What advice would you give your 18 year old self?

Don't be afraid to be vocal about your interests. Trust your judgement and your taste (they are your greatest assets). Most importantly, don't worry about the people who judge you, they're usually the most boring people in the room anyway.
